University Mission for UVA Students

We offer challenging sermons, inspiring music, and lots of students and church members who love them. Our services are compelling, our community is diverse, our attitude is friendly! Wear your jeans, wear your Sunday best, but do join us for worship, support and spiritual nourishment.

• Worship services: 8:30 am and 11:00 am  (during the Academic Year)

Student Fellowship Opportunities

Westminster is a "University" church. It provides fellowship with other students and with members of the University community. We welcome you to come and be part of our Student Fellowship groups. At Westminster, students don't just sit there -- they do something! Students often help lead worship by singing in the choir, serving as a liturgist, greeting people at the door, and leading our annual University Sunday service. Students also provide leadership in our Sunday School program by teaching a class, leading one of the youth groups or singing with our youngest members. If you have been active in a church before, we offer plenty of opportunities for you to remain active while at UVA. If you've never been active, but are seeking new ways to explore your faith and contribute your gifts, we invite you to explore here.
